Well I did it!

After thinking about writing this blog for the last three years, I have finally sat down and created it.

Welcome to my  History Blog!

So:

Historical Perceptions and The History of the Things we Take for Granted.

This blog will be split in two via topic.

1: Historical Perceptions

Illustrating how people thought about and interpreted their past regardless of accuracy affected their actions

2: The History of the Things we Take for Granted

The history of the cool things around us we take for granted

(For example: Why are their 12 month in a year and how did they get their names?)

So for fun here is an example of both.

Here is a short article I wrote when I was a 6th grade teacher about how Maryland got its name.
